What is a Bodybag?
Our patented Intelligent Keychain Condom Holder, the Bodybag, was first patented and trademarked back in the mid 1990s and does things that other condom holders, readily available on the market, can not do! It is air-tight – listen to the “POP” when you pull the cap off! That actually can extend the life of your condoms which do better when not exposed to light or the air. It is water-tight – it can float in the pool, lake, etc. – even if you weren’t trying to use it in that way but just forgot you had it in your pocket. This is a cool feature when on vacation, for instance, if you happen to have an empty Bodybag around… Put your money, a slip of paper with your hotel room number on it, an emergency number “just in case” inside it and you’ll be the only one paying for drinks at the swim-up bar with dry money! And if, God forbid, anything were to happen to you, information specific to you would be available to whoever is tending you! Or you could just store your weed/joints in it – “to go”, where it’s legal, of course!
What’s with the rectangular package on your condoms?
Cool, isn’t it? It’s not your old man’s condom wrapper that took up a ton of room in his wallet, was obvious when laying on his nightstand and was really nothing special to talk about… This is different – intelligently designed to have a much smaller footprint and fit more practically in not only a man’s wallet but also in a woman’s purse – even a tiny little ladies’ night-out clutch! While this is a common package format in much of the rest of the world, the US hasn’t caught up yet – but we have and, because we have, you can too! Be cool, be updated, be protected, be safe, be INTELLIGENT!
Why are your products called “Bodybag”?
Urban artists sometimes referred to condoms as “bodybags” as far back as the 80’s and 90’s. We think of it as maybe a cooler, more hip term to think about safe sex in today. We’re all about promoting pleasure but, with all the political brew-ha-ha associated with the gutting of Roe v. Wade in the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision as well as additional pending attacks on people’s right to choose, we are getting out in front of all that and providing a way to assure that no one finds themself forced to have a child simply to enjoy sex. What kind of a choice would that be? Also, we’re focused on reducing the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) because who wants a lingering poor reminder of an otherwise positive sexual encounter?!
I like your stuff – do you deliver?
Well, thank you! And – YES – we DO deliver, right to your door! We offer a subscription service through which you can select from members-only Bodybag intelligent keychain condom holder designs and various refill sizes to make sure you have what you need, handy when you need it. Interrupting the vibe has never been SO unnecessary!
How does a Bodybag subscription work?
You go to the member area on the top menu bar and create an account. Simply enter all of the information shown on the screen – it’s all “required” so that we can properly fulfill your membership. Then you select what you would like to have delivered every month for a year. We automatically calculate your total – 12 X the rate for the product(s) you’ve chosen + $5 for annual membership (really just makes a tiny dent in the shipping costs we incur to service your subscription). Lastly, provide a credit or debit card into our secure website to charge the annual total price to. The subscription and your membership lasts a full 12 months and is not refundable – that’s because the prices are so low and the benefit levels are of great value! If you were to decide you want to cancel at some point within your year subscription, we would continue to send your product choice until the final month and then we would simply let your subscription lapse without charging you any further. Once you’re a member, you receive 15% off all condom-related products and 10% off all merch in our store! And your shipping is always free as a member!
I want to cancel my Bodybag subscription and get a refund.
We are really sorry that you haven’t found value in your Bodybag subscription and would love an opportunity to communicate with you to find out if there’s something we can do to keep you as a happy, repeat member. Email us at members@bodybagcondoms.com and let us know what’s going on. We hope you’ll have understood from the clear Terms shown during the sign-up process that our subscription prices for product are so low, we cannot allow folks to access that pricing level unless they’re committing to a full year of membership. We are happy to let you know specifically when your subscription will end and then, on a monthly basis, continue to send out a fresh box of supplies through that date. Rest assured that we will not charge you further should you decide that being a member really isn’t for you.
Why do you have such fancy boxes for condoms when others just have average thin cardboard ones?
We’re so glad you asked. Did you note the slogan for Bodybag: Intelligent Protection. For All.? We were thinking hard as we designed our offering for our members and casual customers. The boxes are a big part of that process! It’s elegant – you can set it right on your nightstand and it will keep your product at the ready in a classy way. Your refills always come with a new box, some larger or smaller, depending on the size of the refill – but you are always going to have a familiar, fancy box. When they’re empty, you can use them for a myriad of things: drop your watch and jewelry into it at bedtime, collect up small items that you need to keep track of in a single place, store your recreational smoking supplies and materials, etc. The boxes are recyclable after you’ve used the heck out of them – just drop them in your regular curbside recycling bin. Even the lid magnets can be recycled in communities that do metal recycling! These sturdy boxes are beautiful, strong and make a clear statement about the product and YOU! Other people are only pushing condoms – why would they even care about the package. Oh, that’s right, they don’t.
Are Bodybag condoms FDA approved? They cost so much less than what I’ve been using…
Absolutely our condoms are FDA approved. They undergo a rigorous electronic testing process at the factory – a process that is designed and required by the FDA before they can be released to us. Because it’s an electronic process, there’s very little margin of error so you can sigh that little sigh of relief now! The FDA can randomly pull and test samples from any manufacturer at any time too – it’s not a single-faceted approval. Any condom sold in the US must successfully pass through this process just like any other latex rubber condom so you don’t need to have any concerns about quality or safety. The reason this strict sort of testing is necessary is that the FDA classifies condoms as Type II Medical Devices and they apply many standards specifically designed to protect the user. About our low pricing, we charge less than most of the big companies because we feel (and don’t YOU also feel) that they charge too much – we realize that they have gigantic marketing budgets to maintain. Our concept is to provide a quality product at a very reasonable price in a beautiful package that will spark conversation – and that word of mouth “advertising” will carry us forward without having to feed a giant marketing budget that would require us to increase prices to our members and customers! Intelligent product. Intelligent and fair pricing.
How long is a Bodybag condom good to use?
The standard expiration period for a condom is 5 years after manufacture and this is common to all brands. Bodybag expiration dates are clearly printed on the foil package as well as on the SKU label for all our products. Of course, if you accidentally tear or puncture the foil, that is going to impact the expiration – as the information on the package indicates, do not use a condom that is discolored, brittle, overly sticky, etc. You want a fresh condom each time you have sex to protect against STIs.
What’s a ThrillFill?
That’s what we call our 6-condom refill pack! It’s available in standard size and XL size as well.
What comes in your “kit” box?
You can order it online but you may also have seen our Kit boxes in a distributor location – it’s approximately 4”x4” and can have multiple configurations inside. For instance, at our Bodybag launch, we offer a limited time only special kit box which contains a 12-condom refill and a FREE signature carbon-fiber graphic Bodybag condom holder – a total of 15 condoms and a one-of-a-kind holder that can click right onto your keychain, belt loop or wherever you’d like plus the useful and elegant reusable trinket box! After the launch period is over, there will still be 15 condoms and a Bodybag but there won’t be the massive launch discount any longer. The other common configuration for the Kit-sized box is 12 condom refill packs – at a much lesser price than competitors and with the elegant/classy reusable and recyclable trinket box!
What’s the difference between Bodybag and Bodybag Condoms?
We know – it sounds like we’re talking about a single thing but it’s really two very distinct products! Bodybag is our Intelligent Keychain Condom HolderTM which is sold with 3 condoms packed inside – Bodybag brand condoms, of course! Bodybag condoms are the physical condoms packaged in totally unique rectangular foil wrappers – they come in standard/large (approximately 52mm) and XL (approximately 55mm) sizes.
